EDI Secure® ILM Inline Lamination Module for XID 8300

The EDI Secure® ILM Inline Lamination Module will extend the life time and security of cards printed on the EDI Secure® XID 8300 Retransfer Printer. By applying EDI Secure® clear and secure laminates on the card, the surface will be protected against physical damage and the card life extended. Custom design or generic holographic foils help to protect the cards against tampering. The unconventional portrait mode lamination shortens the card feeding path and achieves an extremely impressive lamination speed of 20 seconds per card (single side).

The EDI Secure® ILM Inline Lamination
Module is easily connected to the XID 8300 Retransfer Printer via a mounting bracket and infrared communication. Available as a single-sided or a dual-sided version – See Product Options below.

A variety of laminating media is available: clear or holographic patches in various thicknesses, patches with chip cut-out for contact smart cards, as well as holographic overlays. The user-friendly front-loading system with replaceable cartridge makes changing of supplies fast and simple. A mechanical lock allows access to supplies only to authorised personnel. The perfect temperature and speed can be adjusted via the front panel display. The ILM is user programmable. This special feature allows the use of the ILM with all card materials, including PVC, Composite PVC, ABS, PET and even Polycarbonate for longest card life.
