ZEBRA ZXP SERIES 8® NOW OFFERING LAMINATION!
Ribbon Select is pleased to announce enhancements to the Zebra ZXP Series 8 Retransfer Card Printer. This innovative, best-in-class retransfer printer now had a new laminations feature, which provides the added security and prolonged card life required by government and high-security applications.
In this second phase of the ZXP Series 8 release, launching 1st July 2010, Zebra are introducing new printer options, ZMotif® enhancements and new supplies including:-
- Lamination - single or dual sided (available for dual sided printer only - factory fitted)
- 10/100 Ethernet firmware (downloadable for printers shipped pre June 2010)
- New True Colors® i Series ribbons (including black, full colour and uv)
- TrueSecure® i Series Laminates - clear, including smartcard and magnetic stripe; stock and custom holographic; custom coded.
- Print station and laminator cleaning kit.
- The Zmotif software platform and SDK have been updated to support the new ZX@P Series 8 options, features and supplies.

IDQUICKSWIPE Card Holder
IDQUICKSWIPE is ideal for holding swipe cards - ie cards with a magnetic stripe. It enables the cards to be swiped without removing them from the card holder, hence eliminating wear and tear on the holder, and possible loss of the card.
